Dianne and Friends Inc. Launches “Warm Feet, Warm Hearts”
Initiative to Bring Comfort and Compassion to Cancer Warriors.
Covington, Georgia — Dianne and Friends Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, proudly
announces the launch of its newest initiative, Warm Feet, Warm Hearts — a heartfelt movement
designed to bring comfort, confidence, and compassion to men and women navigating cancer
treatment and recovery.
The initiative was born from Founder Dianne Jennings (Kat Perkins) and her personal journey
through breast cancer. During her recovery, she experienced extraordinary kindness from
caregivers, family, and medical professionals. That season revealed a simple yet powerful truth:
healing is not just physical — it is deeply emotional.
“At Dianne and Friends Inc., we believe in the power of a beautiful, high‐quality pair of socks to
add a little comfort, a little style, and a lot of heart to every step,” Dianne says. “Every sock tells
a story, every pearl covered in prayer has power, and every woman and man deserves to feel a
love that whispers, one breath at a time, ‘You are not alone.’”
For many facing cancer, foot pain is more than discomfort — it is swelling, burning, neuropathy,
and the weight of a journey that medicine alone cannot soothe. “These are not just tired feet,”
Dianne adds. “They are feet carrying pain, courage, and the strength of a conqueror.”
Through Warm Feet, Warm Hearts, Dianne and Friends Inc. will provide compression socks to
men and women undergoing cancer treatment or in recovery. The initiative launches with a goal
of distributing 5,000 pairs across the state of Georgia, with plans to expand nationally and
globally.
According to the American Cancer Society, 367,220 women and men were diagnosed with breast
cancer in 2024, with projections showing an increase of more than 12,000 new cases in 2025.
These rising numbers underscore the urgent need for comfort‐centered support that honors both
the body and the heart.
“This is bigger than socks,” Dianne says. “It’s about walking with men and women as they
navigate the most challenging chapters of their lives — reminding them that healing begins with
love, not just medicine. Every pair carries the symbol of a pearl, a quiet testament to strength
born through grit, grace, and gratitude. We are not broken or defeated. We are conquerors who
wear the resilient pearl.”
